2015 Psicobloc Masters Deep Water Soloing Competition

Top climbers from around the world traveled to Park City, Utah, for the 3rd Annual Psicobloc deep water soloing competition August 7 and 8. Athletes including Jimmy Webb, Chris Sharma, Delaney Miller and Charlotte Durif raced head-to-head up 5.14-level routes on the 50-foot wall over Utah Olympic Park's 750,000-gallon freestyle aerial training pool.

The women’s bracket was held first, and Charlotte Durif of France took home the gold and $5,000 prize the despite rain soaking each hold.

After the first round of the men’s bracket, lightning brought the competition to a halt. Forty minutes of lightning later, the competition was canceled, and the final ranking was based on the results from the previous round of 16, placing Jimmy Webb in first. The 16 men who competed in finals decided to split the $10,000 total prize money equally.
